She is also a three-time medalist for the individual and relay freestyle at the Southeast Asian Games. Leung qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, after smashing a national record time of 26.18 seconds, at the Malaysian Open Championships in Bukit Jalil. She swam in the eighth heat of the women's 50 m freestyle event, against five other competitors, including Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace of the Bahamas. She finished the race in last place by just fifty-seven hundredths of second (0.57) from her national record, with a time of 26.75 seconds. Leung, however, failed to advance into the semi-final rounds, as she placed forty-eighth out of ninety-two swimmers in the overall rankings.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.2008.nbcolympics.com/swimming/resultsandschedules/rsc=SWW010900/index.html )〕 ==References==
